Adams began his career adjusting claims for the Baton Rouge Claims Service. While at the Baton Rouge claims Service, he was elected President of the Independent Adjusters of Louisiana. From there he joined the Aetna Life & Casualty company handling heavy casualty claims to include the offshore risk, Jones Act Seamen, USL&H claims. From the Aetna he joined Corporate Group, the special risk-self Insurance branch of Frank B. Hall Company as regional manager of their operations. His responsibility was that of sales, marketing and claim administration with a full staff of personnel. In 1993 he entered the structured settlement field as a structured settlement broker and has remained full time in this field. He is past president of the Baton Rouge Claims Association and remains an active member of that organization. He is an active member of the Louisiana Claims Association and has served as a Director of that organization. He is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, and Past President of the Baton Rouge Claims Association.
