Ted Cranias joined the Brant Hickey team in 2002 to lead the new Orlando, Florida office location. Mr. Cranias' main focus is concentrated in Product Liability, Medical Malpractice and Workers Compensation cases. This also includes Medical Set-Asides and Custodial Medical Accounts. He is a licensed insurance agent and a member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Mr. Cranias has had numerous successes in both domestic and international start-up companies since 1996. He has developed significant experience in administrative tribunals as well as the federal courts. Although he is not an attorney, he has appeared before the State of Florida Division of Hearings and Administrative Appeals (responsible for workers compensation adjudication) and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida to assist in the speedy resolution of pending settlements.

Mr. Cranias graduated Cum Laude from John B. Stetson University in 1993 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Often sought after as a speaker, he is most frequently heard at the Stetson University School of Business on the subject of entrepreneurial endeavors and the perils of civil liability. He has provided advice and consultation to local municipalities in the matters of Historical Business Districts, a special program of the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
