Ilana S. Hanau, Esq., CSSC is currently the National Marketing Director for Brant Hickey & Associates, Inc., a leader in the Structured Settlement Industry. Previously, Ilana held the position of Claims Advocate and Vice President for the Global Client Services Division, a division of AIU Holdings, Inc. and prior to that, was an Assistant Vice President in the Structured Settlement Department of AIG Commercial Insurance (AIGCI) in New York, NY. Before joining the Structured Settlement Department, Ms. Hanau was a Division Counsel, responsible for providing legal advice to AIGCI's specialty lines, which included environmental, toxic, health care, pollution insurance products and excess lines of business. For almost 10 years, Ms. Hanau was employed by Risk Enterprise Management, Ltd., a wholly owned business unit of Zurich Insurance Company, the third-party administrator for the Home Insurance Company, as a Senior Litigation Analyst and Counsel. Prior to that, she worked in the Insurance Regulatory Department of Stroock & Stroock & Lavan for three years and at Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer for three and a half years as a litigation associate handling sophisticated multi-party litigations.

Ms. Hanau received her B.A. from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in Washington D.C. She received her Certified Structured Settlement Consultant designation from the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) at the University of Notre Dame and co-chairs the NSSTA Legal Committee.
